Heartland Healthcare Celebrates National Home Care & Hospice Month with the City of Belle Fourche

Honoring the caregivers, celebrating compassionate care, and raising awareness throughout our communities.

November is National Home Care & Hospice Month, a time dedicated to recognizing the healthcare professionals who bring compassionate, skilled care directly to patients and families in the comfort of their homes.  This year, Heartland Healthcare is proud to sponsor the local recognition of National Home Care & Hospice Month in partnership with the City of Belle Fourche.

On November 2, 2026, members of the Heartland Hospice team attended the Belle Fourche City Council meeting, where a proclamation recognizing November as National Home Care & Hospice Month was presented and signed.  This recognition celebrates not only the dedicated professionals who provide care but also the patients, families, and communities who place their trust in home-based healthcare services.

Different Services. One Heart.

At Heartland Healthcare, we understand that every healthcare journey is different. Through Heartland Home Health and Heartland Hospice, our teams provide individualized care designed to meet patients where they are.

Heartland Home Health helps eligible individuals recover from illness or surgery, manage chronic health conditions, regain strength, and maintain independence through skilled healthcare services provided at home.

Heartland Hospice focuses on comfort, dignity, and quality of life for individuals facing life-limiting illnesses, while providing emotional, physical, and spiritual support to patients and their loved ones.

Heartland Health has one mission supported by our continuum of care: providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

More Than a Month of Recognition

National Home Care & Hospice Month is also an opportunity to educate our communities.  Too often, individuals and families are unaware of the resources available to them or have misconceptions about when home health or hospice services may be appropriate.  Throughout November, Heartland Healthcare will be sharing educational information, answering common questions, and helping families better understand their healthcare options.  Our goal is simple: To ensure that no individual or family feels alone when navigating important healthcare decisions.

Proud to Serve Our Communities

Heartland Healthcare is grateful to the City of Belle Fourche for recognizing the importance of home-based healthcare and the dedicated professionals who make it possible. We are equally grateful for our nurses, aides, therapists, social workers, spiritual care providers, volunteers, and support staff whose compassion makes a meaningful difference every day  Whether you are seeking information for yourself, a loved one, or someone in your care, our team is here to answer questions, provide guidance, and help you understand your options.
