In honor of Betty’s life and legacy, Heartland Healthcare has created Betty’s Box to bring comfort, encouragement, and support to other families walking this path.

Created in memory of a remarkable woman named Betty — beloved mom, grandma, great-grandma, storyteller, businesswoman, and friend — this box was born from love and gratitude after her family experienced the compassionate care of Heartland Hospice.

When Betty’s family first heard the word “hospice,” they felt overwhelmed and afraid. But through the support, comfort, and guidance of our hospice team, they discovered something unexpected: hospice is not about giving up… it is about surrounding families with compassion during one of life’s most sacred journeys.

We are incredibly grateful to Betty’s family for allowing us to be part of her journey and for creating something so meaningful forfuture hospice families. Because no family should walk thisjourney alone.
